I think something needs to be done about the scammer accusation
process.

I know this is supposed to be posted in site suggestions, but I dont
have access to post there. If anyone is willing to repost this in the
proper forum (site suggestions, NOT SCAMMER ACCUSATIONS), I would
appreciate it.

I won't pretend to know how the moderator guidelines work, but i
suspect they are restricted in their locking powers.
If my thread sounds raged, it is because I have had to type this out 4
times now, as my computer keeps crashing before I can get the thread
up.

Moderators and mediators sit there asking for more screenshots, more
proof, while5 or more scammer accusations are against a user?
When there is no doubt that he is guilty?
When the user has stolen the jsp account he is using to scam with?
When the perpetrator has sent the fg to a multi?
When he makes a thread SELLING THE ITEMS HE SCAMMED, and FAKING
VOUCHES?

All that, and you want the victim to "please post the screenshot
again, with timestamps"
Are you fucking kidding me?
Moderators should have the ability to lock a persons fg if it is
obvious that the user in question is on a scamming spree.

With the current policy, scamming is the easiest way to make fg.
Its less dangerous than buying/selling prepatch items, because you run
no danger of having to refund anyone if they poof. Simply trade, scam,
and send the fg to a multi, and repeat! No danger of mods locking you,
because your victim hasn't posted a *gasp* screenshot showing that
they got scammed at a particular time.

Moderators should be able to lock for further investigation, WITHOUT
asking dumbass questions like "are you sure you don't have more
screenshots?"

If he had more screenshots, he would have posted them. He had enough
proof to lock the guy already. Oh? You want those same screenshots,
only with timestamps to show that he did indeed trade them? Sure, let
him pull a few more screenshots out of his ass.

Of course, as with everything thats involved with giving unlimited
access to over-zealous, snotty pre-pubescents, moderators could abuse
this power, like they do with the powers they already have.

In order to combat this, the locked user could keep his/her pm rights,
for communication purposes. In addition, a little memo would be sent
to the normal gang: MoT, Goldbranch, and balakai. this way, if any
abuse occured, it could be quickly rectified.

What I mean to say, to compress the above rant, is that moderators
should be able to use common sense in the s/a forum, not this
due-proccess shit that makes them ask "there is enough proof already,
but do you have any more? Maybe you should pm the scammer and ask him
if he has any."

I have removed most of the mod-bashing comments that were in the
original. Although they deserve it, telling a moderator that
he needs to get his head out of his ass is not a good way to have my voice
heard.

I was not scammed. I was under no obligation to speak out.

I could have written this about something that affects me directly,
such as a moderator's ability to warn me for something that even
balakai has admitted I didn't do.
I could have written this about paparick claiming that I ignored a
verbal warning that was posted during the time I was composing my
post.
I could have written this about el shadday warning me over a picture
of a plastic corpse. A halloween decoration, to be more specific.
I could have even complained that I got warned for quoting a picture
of a girl in a bikini.

But no, I spent nearly half an hour rewriting this long-ass thread several
times
to speak out against the scammer who gets away with thousands of
fg because mods aren't allowed to use common sense.

Thank you for your time.
Have a nice day.

I had to shorten the post about 5 paragraphs due to a maximum in post size.
I've noticed that only cowmissil has bothered to read the entire thing, as the others left immediatly

Someone please post this in the site suggestions forum, and post the link here.
At 30% access you lose the ability to make this site less shitty.

Please keep your philpop-related comments to philpop-related threads.
Philpop is, yes, a habitual scammer. Nontheless I think he is funny, friendly, and a good dueler.

This thread has nothing to do with Phil.
