Beacon + Deadeye +Multishot + Weapon Master are the skills you want from Recon. The rest are pretty trashy.

This would be a pure gun marksman build. With the right gear with cooldown shortening and buff lengthening mods you can get multishot on more than off.

If you never do groups of monsters you might put your points into something instead of bullet skills, like elemental beacon for bosses or something.
