Do they run around with two guns? A gun and a shield? What kind of mods do I want, what weapons?

I joined HG:L right before it ended and really only have MM experience so any tips would be welcome.

Two vorpal slashers, ideally filled with shrapnel mods, though nova mods are a good alternative. You can dual or even triple aura easily, or go for maximum shield wall.
A crit build could work too now that Guardian's have crit skills, but I've not had a chance to test it.

Be aware that your feeds will be crazy, as you'll need 12 mods in your guns to be effective, and that'll run you at 300str for the mods alone.

So what about skill points? I was wanting to be able to tank while dishing out a reasonable amount of damage.

Chosen to go the dual aura route so that I can run AoR and AoD at the same time, hoping to hit at least 85% DR, combined with lots of regen and the ability to pump out PoH every few seconds for myself and other team members.
