Hmm seem to be having a problem

Hit Play game and screen disappears for like 2 minutes then pops up an error saying failed to authenticate servers


Ideas? I am running Win 7 x64 bit

The devs just ended the CB phase 3-4 days ago. They are now taking a few days to review bug reports/etc...

Are you trying to connect with your old installation?... You will need to re-download and install from http://hellgate.t3fun.com if so.

I am also excited to be able to play this game again.

No i reinstalled it witht he new downloaded client

there is no info on when it's gonna be back up, they noted that if everything went smoothly for CBT that they may have OBT up a week or so later.

to OP reason you're getting that error is because no servers are up. wait for OBT

i thought hellgate was a pretty bad game... bt then again i hyped myself up for it a lot and it was so buggy and unexciting. i know its and rpg first but the guns had no accuracy didnt feel like a shooter at all
