Goddamn I wish this was still up sad.gif Hardly finding -ANY- groups in Elite-nm at lvl 48
The game is dying, it's inevitable, and I doubt that anyone will pick the IP from Comerica, and if they do, highly doubt they'll keep HGL running. It's tagged as a steaming pile of shit in the gaming world.

Flagship Studios Still Operating
San Francisco, CA (July 14, 2008) -- Flagship Studios has announced today that despite rumors to the contrary, the company is still operating.

“It is with deep regret that I must announce that Flagship Studios has laid off most employees. However, the core management and founding team members are still at Flagship.” said Bill Roper, CEO of Flagship Studios. “The past five years have been an incredible experience for us, but unfortunately, we couldn’t sustain the size of the company any longer.”

Flagship Studios owns the rights to all its technology and IP, including Hellgate: London and Mythos. Due to the current situation, Flagship will not be taking any new subscribers for Hellgate: London, and all current subscriptions will not be billed.

Flagship wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to those that have supported the company and games over the past five years.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD news. Bout 2 months old... but i assume since you never played the game, that you haven't actually been following HGL news very closely...
They are not in business, Bill Roper himself gave a formal interview about the OFFICIAL closing of FSS.
Now its only a matter of whether or not the HGL IP will be picked by anyone. Funny thing is like people said, its been busier than it has been in months, since the first rumors started.
IDC< i enjoy the game and will simply play hgl online for as long as i can until the bitter end.

idc bout people's opinion about how "dead" they think this game is.
AFAIK that is completely undecided by the powers that be... so far.
cheers
