That's optional. If you can/want to pay the Subscriber fee, I'd say go for it, it's not that much anyways...I can't do it because I live outside the US so I don't even know how I'd pay it to begin with. You can enjoy the game fine without paying tho, the options available if you pay the fee aren't that many.

Yup, payment choices are: Credit Card, Paypal, and Pay By Cash.
As for if it goes to your old chars, I'm not sure

When you have subscribed, would the NPC's that has the text "Subscriber only" on them get the text removed?
Cause I still see it...
But for example the guy "Ko" is talkable to now, but I suppose he's a merchant but show's no shop window.
Guess I'll need to make a new char.
Anyone else that can confirm that you need to make a new char after subscribing?
