You dont need grand aura imo as sword-fighter.. 1-2 points are enough.. and.. I just began on Elite a guardian, since I wont play my guard on norm anymore.. and I gonna use this build ( Note: I gonna use northstar .. adds are : 1+ all skills, +3 to defense aura, +1 to prayer of retribution) also gonna use hiki with +3 heavens arc, +3 sword of reconing

I have normal sword attack on left click and Prayer of Retribution on right click. Sword of Reckoning on E for easy access when needed on a boss or high HP monster.

All skills leveled to 9 assuming Keeper of the north star.

I keep a grappler / sword combo on weapon switch for killing flying shit. Aura of renewal is always active. I only use anchor when I start to get surrounded by a mob, and it usually makes quick work of them.

I wouldn't advise getting grand aura more than 1 point if you're not getting the taunt line
