ok so i finally found a lees for my mm and im having trouble deciding how to mod and have a few questions.
1) How do I get the most DMG out of it? I could go the ignite dmg mods or the +% to fire..which is better?
2) Obviously if i went with +ignite dmg I'd ne igniting too so would that be better even if I had less dmg?
3) What ignite dmg should I be aiming for if I want to ignite?
4) Would I be able to add a few +ignite mods and a few +% dmg mods and still ignite?
5) Is there ANY diff between +% to dmg and +% to fire dmg?

there are alot of threads in the official forums discussing modding and getting the max. dmg. first of all: it all depends a bit on your build, especially if you are playing a crit build or not. for crit builds you would of course go with crit chance and crit dmg mods.
damage calculation itself is hard when it comes to effects like phase or ignite combined with normal damage output. if you just need damage output go with +% damage mods (no matter what type) and add a divine mod (increases all damage) in the last slot. if you want to ignite mods you will need some ignite strenght, how much? well depends. if you play a lot in groups and do stuff like moloch or dessi runs: go get as much as you can (+2XX per mod). if you play alone most of the time about 500 ignite strenght in total will be enough IMHO (so yes, you can add +strength and +damage and you are still able to ignite ...). Question 5: yeah, +% damage increases all damage so far on the weapon (divine mods), +% fire/psn/wtf damage just adds x% of the base damge (with the given dmg type) to the weapon.

anyway, here's what I suggest for your lee's (if you're not a crit build): add some spectral damage mods and then go with ignite strength and phase strength (both ~ 500 should be possible).

Focus on damage, but try to have a little ignite like he said.  If you are heavy into bosses like molly or dessi or headhunting, you'll build a true igniter which requires high ignite mods and speccing your char for elemental visions.  DO NOT half-ass it.

Only on bosses.  Everything else you'll rip through too fast for ignite to make a difference.

300-500 unless you spec for max ignite.

You would not see much igniting on higher level mobs and bosses, which is the only place it helps

No, not in the amount of damage assuming the same % like 12% damage mod versus 12% fire damage mod...  I do like to mix mine up, though, like I'll put in a 10% electrical 10% spectral mod over a 22% damage mod just because I get all damage types.  This is good for minigame and also because certain damage types seem to pwn certain types of mobs more

the best gun for a marksman is a fully upgraded dunbar disrupter, this is for mass killing
w/ your lee, if u're just gonna kil boss, make it pure ignite
i only use the lee when i have to face boss or something that takes a while to kill. Everything else the dunbar does the job, really fast.

aiming for 900 ingite str
