Well, say I wanna augment stuff in hope of getting some of the following mods:

penetration
+aa
+attribute
+rate of skills
+dmg

etc, other useful marksman mods, what kind of augmentation should I use? Legendary? Common? Rare?
Is certain mods only available on certain items, which mods, what items?

well, first of all: augumenting is hardcore gambling, be prepared: you will fuck up some nice items wink.gif

not sure if there is a list out there with what auguments you can get, i personally use the rare augument most of the time because the price is ok (doesn' hurt that much if you get +3 engi skill on mm weapon for example) and you can get most of the stuff (+aa, +a att is possible for sure).

augumentation also seems to depend on item lvl, so make sure to fully nanoforge your items before augumenting.

u cant get +3 mod with rare agument. u need legendary for +3 mod rare adds +2 and common +1
for AA common adds 1-5 rare 6-10 legendary 11-15
or something like that

You can get it on weapons if you augment them though.

legendary? Common? Rare?

only the power of the arguments are chosen by these

with common u would get +1 skill with rare +2 with legenday +3
but if it is a crap skill u cant use or somethng amazing like 3 to beacon thats gambling

Well, thats how it seems, but where to find those items, they should be easy to target with farming if you know where and what ilvl those specific items drop.

I'm well aware that augmenting is a hardcore gamble, but hell, the best rapeage owning items will probably be attained that way, right? The odds of finding an already perfect item? Slim. The odds of finding a semi good one, and augmenting it with the best mods, probably better, but still slim.

So, if anyone could compile a list of mods they get with different augments, I'd be happy:) I'm sure gonna make a list of my own augmentations in the future, gathering data as I go smile.gif

well id guess that it goes like this:

there 3-4 for every single mod ie. +x dex or +x hit point%
the dex mods names are:
* Refined - +2-5 Accuracy
* Eagle's - +6-8 Accuracy
* Falcon's - +12-15 Accuracy
* Zephyr's - +19-20 Accuracy

and for +hp% are:
* Sustaining - +5% Hit Points
* Restorative - +8-11% Hit Points
* Bracing - +13-14% Hit Points

u could say that when talking ie. +dex mods and +hp% mods the lowest +x amount would be what u get with common mod
and the next one would be what u can get with rare and last but not least the legendary mod would be the last 1 (i think that the 4th mod is only for uniques)

hopefully you understood something.

and if u didnt and someone else understood please explain it better than me. im HORRIBLE in explaining things.
(also i havent read about this anywhere, meaning that this could be also wrong.. but imo this makes sense...) so
u could find that link i gave usefull

ok looking that thead abit more u can see that some mods have even 6 different names and versions but NP the colors of the name can tell you what rank mod it is(orange = legendayr, blue=rare,white=common)

probabaly my favorite thing on a gun.
i have a cluster rifle with massive sheild penetration.
same with my voodoo rifle.
