if it had + armor instead the life regeneration and instead of the thorns a basic bonus of the armor like
5% faster cast

and to qoute fuziman.... u dont want armor on that 1 . cuz to high req of strength..... an caster should have either alloot of armor or as this is only shield. to spend as much points possible in willpower and stamina.
