i didnt stick around to kill him but was able to do some dmg (like 15% of his life bar in 10 minutes) so he seem beatable with ignites like a mini sydonai
if anyone feels like joining me on the test server to try and get a kill pm me i guess...or maybe we'll be getting the live server update soon? anyone have word on when we're getting that?

~edit: btw: he has a weird attack that turns you to stone or something...pretty interesting...wish that was available as a skill..

On the note of the new monster ignite may be the only way which is a shame because it overvalues ignite and means more cookie cutter builds

i have a 2ndary lee's on switch that has +3 elemental visions which (with a +1 mm cap) gives me +100% elemental attacks when in tactical stance (yay for the forced 1 pt in TS i guess) without me having to put any points in the TS tree...

i have a lee's on the live server (but not yet on the test so i havent been able to try it) that has +49% necro dmg and 6x 20+% dmg mods in it - im looking forward to seeing if this can dmg him without needing ignites..

With around 1,000 ignite, give or take a lil, i should be able to ignite him fairly easy? Or is he stacked out the ass?

i tried him again last night - it seems that on this most recent test center build he's a bear
minions keep coming and coming and taking care of them allows dessi to regen...seems like his regen is super quick now
with approx 1100 ignite + some pts in elemental beacon + 4 pts in elemental vision (for +100 elemental attack) i was able to ignite him easier than igniting nm sydonai but it seems like ignite does less dmg (definately not 5%) probably because it is being countered by his high regen
I'd like to see if poison can effectively counter his regen but I'm not sure if it works correctly on monsters - anyone tested poison much??

Well, the Wild was designed to be done with a group anyway, and you're trying to do it solo so...

I can easily imagine him becoming MUCH easier if I were in your party. I'd tank him and stunlock him more and attract his spawns while you chip off Dessy's hp. And yeah I think poison probably will stop his regen.

We can give it a try together when the patch goes live.
