have bin thinking on makeing a sniper now,

flashcrasher granade only have 1 use, ceep me alive when getting to close the front (happens alot ^^)
i dunno about the tactical skills, meybe good get some, but i whont be able to use tactical stance in same time as sniper.
escape is abevous, i whont remove those, meybe add some, but i dunno exatly.. meybe they are just bad but needed in the start of some areas or to escape.
dead eye is only good ^^
master sniper im nott sure about, seems like a nice skill + hollow points ( my skilltree = +220% critical dmg.
beacon is a must
that was all, but like normal... to few skills ;P

think this would be a good build for team / single player, if any1 knows how a good sniper shuld be built i be happy if you tell me smile.gif

Here's the new 1.2 MM Sniper build I'm trying out... though I started with it, and scrapped bits and pieces. Since it's on the test server, when it's not screwed up, I get to try out a new build every login if I want to. smile.gif

The main problem with your build is the fact that it doesn't really specialize in anything but sniping... While it might be amazing on the open levels, anywhere with trees, corners, or edges will tear you to pieces.

your build looks good in many ways, but is only 3 points into sniping a good idea rly ?

Well, since all that raising sniper does in 1.2 is lowers the cost to speed by 3%, the difference between firing at 56% speed and 77% speed isn't worth wasting 7 more points on... yes, you're shooting about a third faster, but if you're using an automatic rifle or anything like that, the additional points into master sniper or ricochet or wherever they go will help a lot more... smile.gif

im going to be going with a bm, guardian or enginner so im targetting haveing as much sniper as possible

Imo i dont think maxing out ANY skill is good. instead put 7 in it. and get a weapon that gives +3 to the skill.
AND really think you should put only 3-4 points in master sniper and invest the 10 skill points in ricochet and reflecting shot. (they are really nice)
Btw im going with a multishot build. OMG it works SOOO good. imagine firing 3 shots and crit with 1 of those to trigger ricochet and reflecting shot then it's like firing 10 shots. and with beacon on that u will 1 shot bosses EASyY smile.gif
Really works , and think you should try it.

Except that in 1.2, ricochet and those trigger with every shot, not with crits... and multishot and rapid fire are mutually exclusive...

Basically, since sniper only slightly helps your firing speed, the extra points into master sniper make your crits while in sniper mode brutal...

Though I will admit that raising up the bullet types is likely going to be a major part of my final 1.2 MM build. smile.gif I just need to actually pay attention to my MM for long enough for them to hit 50 and then have FSS fix the retrainer bug. Heh.

iam haveing this build on my higher mm atm, useing a goodly lee“s lightlance, works fine when, multishot / rapid fire / richochet / reflected shot / homing shot/ and maxed dead eye, is activated on same time it kills the most very fast, the bad things are if you dont get this active when you are counting on them.. makes you a easy kill for blade minions and there stun (argh hate stun). but when haveing this all active + multi beacon and beacon, it pretty much kill every thing in a radius of like 10 meters whare you targeting, and in 20 meters monsters like zombies die easy and fast.

But multishot/rapid fire is completely GONE in 1.2 MM. And that's why I gave the build I did. biggrin.gif

Making your build for the meanwhile is one thing, but just remember that if you haven't tried it on the test server, your build will probably suck in a week or two.
