Was wondering if evokers are good?

and if not whats my best mage char?

I tried the evoker twice on elite mode and it drove me nuts, maybe I did something wrong but they seem to be very weak at an early stage.

they are. but later on they are fun as hell.

early just don't waste skills to make yourself kill faster. Wait it out for the skills you plan on using. And take it slow. Gorilla tactics early on.

Easiest to setup imo because of the skill layout working with your stats etc. It's just a big ball of sex.

I'd go evo if you don't mind how ugly they can look
