This is my hint on how to find essences for you who are frustrated. I keep hearing people whine in the hgl forums about not finding essences so I decided I'd post this.

Beast essences: my favorite place to hunt for this is Lower Sewers - kill Big Ben. He always spawn there. To do this, run to Lower Sewers and kill Big Ben. Then make a PRD and join a party - any party - and type /leave. Then go back thru your PRD. Rinse and repeat.

This is a great place because Big Ben is not the only beast in there. There are a lot of other beasts there as well, and sometimes you may come across a pack of champions. One time, I got lucky and found 3 Beast essences in 1 run. ^^

Spectral essences: I can't think of any place that is always full of Spectrals other than the Exospector, and there is a unique Orbile in there - Lord Z-something (can't remember how to spell his name). The only problem with this is that you can't make a PRD in the Exospector. You have to go outside and make PRD in Puddle Dock and when you go back in, you'll be sent back to the beginning of Puddle Dock. Be sure to buy adrelaine pills for this so you can rush thru Puddle.

Another place to hunt for spectral essences is Occulus. Only problem with this is that you'd have to find a Occy run, and there isn't always one up... and if there is, it usually is full. Good luck! ^^

Necro essences: Sometimes I find a necro essence from champion zombies in Lower Sewers while I'm hunting for Beast essences, so I usually don't need to hunt for these. But if you need some more, you could try Tottenham Court Rd. (outside Holborn) and kill Fat Bully. He doesn't always spawn there, but I think (?) he spawns there one out of 2 times. You could try you luck there, or just hunt for champion zombies in Lower Sewers.

Demon essences: I would be really surprised if you're lacking demon essences. ^^ They're the most common. If you need some, try Shulgoth, Abbadon, and many many others... there are a lot of unique demons out there!

Hi, I just wanted to add that Ploughyard is a great place to farm for all essences. That's where I go for all my essences (done Moloch 4 times now, that stingy bastard! =P).

another place for beast essence would be church yard @ st pauls station. There is 1 quest beast that u can farm the same way u can farm beig ben or typhoid maria. Though u need the quest for this boss :\ if u have done it already then u cannot do it.

I was in an Abby farm run and that unique boss beast Lord Nessermer or w/e was spawning with Abby as well and he drops beast essences
