yes, it is ridiculous. I would not mind so much if they let rares/legeds/enhanced have the same number of mods (non-inherent ofc).

I'm not sure, some uniques have less stats than others and seem to be augmentable, I'm pretty sure all those sydonai's thorax armours without the +life mod should be augmentable.
In any case it makes for potentially crazy good items.

inherent mods should not could towards what you can and can not augment.

I just got +3 reflected shot and +3 overshield on my dunbars which is FANTASTIC.

shame the game is still buggy
