So I am thinking about purchasing this game, my old college roommates and I discussed this game years ago while it was still a myth/rumor whatever you want to call it while it was in production.

I love the idea of a first person shooter where you can magic find.
Is this really how the gameplay is?

Also, for those of you who do play, do you know if they are still offering the lifetime subscription or do you have to pay 10 bucks a month to get the extra content?

And one final question, is it worth it to buy the "deluxe edition" of the game to have the unique pet thing??

yah it's fun, nn to subscribe to play online and lots of fun to be had.

as RapidClick said its not necessary to pay, but its 10$ a month come'on ^^

ow well its a rly good game, which isnt that easy to lvl up, its a MMORPG at stations, wich are the cities of hgl and u can trade, pvp and etcs, and while u fight u can solo or make party b4 joining the various battefiled portals...max ppl on party are 8 if im not wrong, and the pet in deluxe edition is useless, it doesnt do anything but a rly annoing noise

ps: the frist person cam, hmmm its not possible in all chars, i mean you must wear a gun (firegun) like rifles, pistols rocket launcher grampler and etcs, but if u'r are planning to be blademaster or guardian wich uses swords you cannot use the frist person cam

the lifetime subscription, aka the founders offer, expired on january 1 2008


theres plenty of hellgate fansites online where you can see gameplay screenshots, etc
and theres a post here by schlag96 with a lot of general info about items, etc

founders was still up as of a few days ago. not sure how long though.

just found out tonight that since I purchased the game at circuit city I am not able to apply for the "founders" club since the only way you can do that is if you preordered the game

Founder's offer ends at end of the month (1/31/08) but (I believe) is still only available for those with pre-order codes.

don't bother ATM Stonehenge is a joke i'm having more bugs than i did in 0.6 :/

founder offer is still good, if you can get a promotion code

also the stonehedge is fine, got some lagg problem but they're handling that, and should be fix by tomorrow

all i gotta say is GET THE GAME AND PLAY!
