I bought a new lab top and I dled the demo for hell gate London. I tried to play but I get lagged to hell even on the lowest settings. Any advice?

Upgrade your RAM
2gb is minimum for vista
recommend you go with 4gb

how much would this cost? NVM $320 i figured it out

if your paying that much for ram your looking in the wrong place my friend. Check out www.newegg.com If you're smart enough to put it in yourself you could save a shitload.

if he asks about what he needs he's probably not that high tech. I can't even put in a fan

Set the graphic option to medium, should work fine.

I could put it in :-/ circuit city really screwed me over. I HAD to pay $40 extra dollars just to buy the laptop... It was something like $800 but it ended up costing me $920

u need to upgrade to atlest 2k ram.. and since ur using Vista crap u probably need more aswell..
4k is whats recomended for this game running Vista.. kinda bad since u could use XP and do with 2k ram, shitty Microsoft.

Hmm....sales tax maybe? I don't know, but definately upgrade your ram since your running vista, that should fix any problems that you have. Also just upgrade to 2 GB of ram if you want and play on the lowest settings....would be cheaper and work fine, it just won't look the best...I guess its kind of a decision you'd have to make, but definately upgrade your ram to at least 2 GB to play the game with vista

Hmm I use Vista (only to play HG:L) aswell with 2gb Ram on a MacBook Pro, my Vista index is at 4,6 and HG runs with approx 120 fps with all settings to max except the shader...

@darksand: Perhaps you should think about upgrading your whole hardware...
