I have an ATI Radeon 9600 PRO and got a vertex error message when I tried to play. Going back to Catalyst 7.5 fixed this problem. I don't know if other vesions work as well, but I know this solved my problem.

My friend got an ATI Radeon 9600 PRO , hellgate works fine


it always depends on the other piece of your cpu imo
