im guessing my focus items damge gets multipliesd by my bone being shot??

Use two focus items, the damage increased per each focus item.
Your spells have elemental damage, so if u need more damage need weapon with higher elemental damage, not high power damage.

dmg from foscus item (make sure to press details to see reall dmg) is what becomes dmg with skills.

One of the types increases Str attacks also (the one with a eye i think) wich helps u put status on enemies more easy as well

Basically, just chose the focus item with the most dmg on. Also chose mods that fits what kind of attack u use.
