Can someone tell me why it won't work smoothly? Or is it just because it's the demo?

have you tried turning down all the settings to see if that makes a difference?

How do I check my video card?

When i turned the settings down it was coming in and out, flashing pink and colors like that O_o

start -> right click MY COMPUTER -> properties -> hardware -> device manager -> display adapters

should say what you have.

as for the goofy colors, idk. could be an old video driver, orit could be your gfx card is set to override in-game settings, which can cause strange things.

Yeah I have to look into the messed up colors I think, I'm using vista right now and I bet you anything they're blocking it.

dont use vista, atm its useless xp ftw even with vist u need x2 more of ram example if the game requires 1 gb at xp needs 2 gb at vista

absolutely. You could upgrade for quite cheap. One thing though. Tis game is amazingly different from stripped down gfx card (my old 9800 pro) compared to my current card (an old x1950), and this only puts me about 1/2-3/4 of the way to max settings. The game does not even look the same.

I'm changing my video card too,,, for one not 2 expensive but i belive its enough
