I am a newbie to this game, so please bear with me for a moment.
I am playing single player.
From the battle, I cast a portal back to the station. but how do I get back to the battle? I have to walk my way all the way back there?

use prd for a 2-way trip.

"personal relocation device" = prd
just right-click to use

no, a prd is also a portal, except you can go back through it

a portal is a one way trip that you cant get back from.

nope, u use it outside etc. in the battle, then u enter the prd portal and in station u see opened prd portal to back to outside place (etc "prd: kingsway")

No. A prd is a 2-way portal, you take it from the level to the station, ten back to the level.

The other one (worldstone?) is a 1-way portal, goes back to station only.

worldstone? a.k.a Recall?
