i'm not to sure about that, i've always made a note about luck (as i'm trying to get as much as possible.. have over 450++), i've never found anything other then a relic with luck, and this is after hundreds of occy runs and i check the merchant and the crafter everytime i goto town, i only see relics. i've seen about 45 relics and 0 anything else...

You have whatever effects you have damage types

Physical = stun
Fire = ignite
electrical = shock
spectral = phase
toxic = poison

if you have all 5 damage types you have a chance for all types of effects

Point is you must have the damage TYPE to expect a chance for the EFFECT.

An effect strength mod has no use if you do not have that damage type.

i.e. if you have a gun with no electrical damage a mod with +1000 shock effect will do you no good.


I 100% understand this, only thing I've got a question about is... if an evoker is doing a spell.. that's fire dmg, but my focus has electrical dmg on it aswell as a shock strength mod... is it possibly to shock and ignite?

if yes, would it work with a channeling-type spell like life steel or mana steel?

ALSO- % increased range does that work with spells aswell? say i have a spell that has 15meters range and i get a 10% increased range mod, could i cast it from 16meters and still hit the target?

I don't have any experience with casters, sorry. But if a weapon has electrical it should have some chance of shocking, however small.

With my evoker I've had over 3 proc's, psn from venom armour, phased and ignited, thats combined with shock from arc legion I guess? So that makes 4? Guess it's unlimited to the amount you can have but I've certainly had 3.

Life/mana steel only does what it says.

As for inc. range I dont think it works, as the more points you add into certain caster skills it adds range anyway, I think thats a bonus you get to being a caster along with being able to add whatever proc you prefer depending what skill tree you choose.
