useless? how can you say what is useless? do you know what a difference the resists make?
FYI - I use:
Helm:
AA Mavericks with Stam
AA Mavericks with All Res, TAV
Gloves:
AA TPJ's
AA Duellos
AA/SP//Acc etc rares
Shoulders:
+18 Will Sues
Belt:
AA/Armor/HP/SP
Boots
AA/Armor/Evasion/HP
Pants:
AA/Armor/HP/stats
I have ~1800 life, ~62%DR.
Weapons I use are a mxture of a 6 slot lees with various ignite/fire dmg mods, a 8slot nikolas with various %ele mods, 2 x Hus with various mods, a Dunbars with various mods. I also have fraggers/leg weps/++
For me to be able to switch around at all means I must invst fairly heavily into will. I would be interested to see your mods and Will feed on your items tho as I would love to be able to reduce my will feed it's very limiting on my char atm.
Yes, as a fact I know exactly how SFX resistances work on live servers. The effect is diminishing, depending on mob sfx attack strength. The only time you will see a big difference is when you stacked up a lot vs an enemy with very high sfx attack, for example, moloch. Against enemies that have a very low sfx strength you will notice next to no difference at all when increasing from 2000 to 3000 sfx defense. Also, sfx defense eats willpower like hell, effectively lowering your dmg output and flexibility when it comes to changing gear.
There's a lot of useless modifiers out there, some other things to watch out for if you're looking to optimise your marksman is TAV, +hp. TAV feed cost is just absolutely insane compared to what you're getting, avoid it like the plague. A 10% affix costs you 25 strength, with impregnable feed costs you'd get roughly 150 armor for 25 strength. You think you have 1500 armor to gain a 150 armor bonus from 10%? I think not. Also, a vigorous affix with +70 would be a stamina feed of 13. A 15% hp increase would be a stamina feed of 7. If you want health, go for hp% or +stam, pure +hp actually
limits your potential max hp.
As for my own items, I use a clean +AA mav atm, AA duellos, AA SuE's, etc. All my legendary gear has 30 or more total accu on em, no useless mods. I've refrained from augmenting my chest and boots not to get useless mods eating willpower, waiting for a similar item to come along before augmenting. As for mods I'm using mainly critdmg/crit+ele, works fine for me. A dual ele mod would do better if it has high stats, but I prefer keeping my willfeed low in favor of some flexibility when it comes to gear. I currently have 171 will feed with my most willpower eating weapon, a lee's with demon/ele mods.
