I agree, nothing but the game engine (which is amazing, bugs aside) is at stake here...HGL has been way too butchered by critics and players. Despite, of course, that the game is extremely addictive, that's the truth

I recently got my new gpu and dx10 and now running hgl maxed out and i gotta say it looks beautifull and yea very addictive, especially when u do like 50 314's head runs in a row or abby, etc lol , but i just hope that once namco with hanbitsoft get the control they will take the initiative to improve the game and i dont know maybe add some more new content? That would be nice and it would get more people interested in the game.

Well, Namco surely have the resources to do so O_O HGL does have a large potential, if they provide the new content Quarterly I'm sure HGL can and will be revived, not to mention some minor bug fixing

its a lot easier to fix a game then to start from scratch

Yea i fully agree regularly added new content and some minor bug fixes would lift the game up to the new glorious heights. Only question remains: what will the future bring ?

exactly so why would they be fighting to close it down. that theory doesnt make sense imo
