Marksman's like a zon pretty much

Summoner = Necro/Druid

Guardian = Paladin

Blademaster = Barb

Evoker = Sorc

Engineer = Kind of a Necro/druid with mechanical pets

As far as I've heard anyway. Others who have played those classes can correct me if I'm wrong.

blademaster is more like a rogue, very high dps dual weild
guardian is like a barb cuz can tank a lot and use shield

i agree that guardians are the best class to start with
i soloed my way all the way through normal with only self found items easily without dying much at all
once you get into nightmare it starts to get harder, but then you have a pasic knowledge of the game and can either start a new class with higher damage per second, or join a party of peoplle to get through the acts

i started with a blademaster, lvl 6 atm (not having time to play 2 much ) but bms r pretty sweet! they cant tank so much, but they r pretty awsome
