this game is actually 100%diablo in another perspective.
you have the rpg and hack&slash elements,
you have the map/mob respawn elements,
you get to make parties and do maps in a group,
you can do boss-runs for better drops,
tons of mobs, tons of drops. HUGE amount of extremly desired items.
so its kinda diablo.
This game is really good, much much better then the average hack&slash Rpg.
It's not what people expected to be, but thats media.
Trying to sell their product, big campaigns, lots of positive feeds and stuff.
The customers (gamers) are getting to demanding, but nobody wants to pay more for a extremly qualitative game.
Diablo 3 is going to be Hellgate-like. Diablo 2 in another perspective. But Blizzard certainly has the capacity and the "chi-ching" to deliver a more qualitative game.
With qualitative i mean like sound, video and coding.
I dont really like the sound in Hellgate. The characters voice arent really appealing, the mobs roars are boring and nothing special.
The graphics are actually pretty good, lots of bugs, but its playable. But i dont like the equipments colors and structures and stuff.
Blizzard is certainly is position to deliver such a game, with better overall elements.
They have money, so they can call in really professional sound-creators/mixers, voice-actors and stuff. You know, once a company or a person has a huge list of works done, with some high sellers between them, they get expensive. Not everyone can afford to get IT for their product. So did Flagship failed, and didnt managed to maintain the game in a decent way, but its still a great game. If they manage to get their shit right, find a new sponsor and stuff, this game surely aint out of business.
btw, i bought the game for 10 euro's.
for 10 euro's, this is ONE HELL OF A GAME.
u surely payed to much
