i would quit d2 for this, mainly because d2 will be outdated, or eventually shut down. plus this is constantly patching, where as d2 is just same old shit over and over.

Got a character to level 50. I started a second character, but it just wasn't worth playing through again. At that point, there was absolutely no endgame content. no, max lvl is ez to get, max rank however is another story. that is going to take some time.

i haven't rly played d2 since i got this game.

Max level in d2 is quite easy aswell.

As for leveling, they are about the same. I would say this is harder to level since there isnt an "uber leveling" type thing. Plus you really cant get power leveld. The runs are pretty much the same. Farm until you drop. Imo: Drop diablo 2, and play this. When this gets boring go back to d2. Switch them on and off because this will get somewhat boring when you do the new stuff.

well i've been playing it for under a month so i can't really say how much fun it is compared to d2.
though i like it better becaues d2 is nothing but hackers, modders and dupes now. Hgl has none that im a aware of.

thing is as much as they patch hgl they will be dealt with alot soon and more often as d2 haxors

Vouch. Besides, FSS has a strong policy. I heard they banned people for swearing/flaming constantly in-game, so I'm quite sure they will ban/detect hacks with ease. I say don't even compare this to D2. D2 = shitstain in the gaming world.

well, if they reset every d2 realm, ladder and non, and no dupers or hackers existed.... it might be the most fun ive had in a while =D

oh, and diablo is basically cookie cutter chars.. liek they all use the same equipment, so is it that way on here? or what you find can be gg?
