As you said AoD was still the only aura...

http://forums.hellgatelondon.com/showthread.php?t=70946

Comparison of AoD and AoR, after the 1.0 patch. Basically, for solo-ing, AoR tends to be better, while AoD tends to be better in groups. Apparently AoR at max levels with max aura regens 42.15% of your HP per minute per enemy. So 5.62% of your HP per second... enough to regen during being ignited. Anyways, looks like a nice build in general. No Heaven's Arc though for flying?

I happen to not like losing the ability to attack for a few seconds when I switch between weapon types, as well as losing the shields attached to my *gasps* shield. If we DIDN'T lose the shields when we switched weapon types but the shields have the same shield-level, a grappler would make more sense to me. That, and I did have to use a grappler, slowly on the big gundown (or whatever that mission is called, where you kill the exospector). Drove me crazy as I'd slowly try to maneuver around and catch the Orbilles nearly directly above me, but just enough over the wall so I couldn't use the directly-below-reaiming to get them. smile.gif

yea, I'm fine with a grappler for anti air. I went with AoR for now, but I'm probably going to switch to AoD next patch

works better if you arent standing right under them and you can have a shild on the grabbler swith also..

and if you do this on the flying lie ( zydonai ) he whont spawn any eayes and you or your party m8ts can EASY kill him.

True, using a grappler on that lie makes him very easy, but I wasn't impressed with the damage on any of the grapplers I'd had... hmm... Are there any flaming grapplers? That would make them useful... Heh. Suppose if not, I could add it with a mod, just wear some Fawkes gear...

normaly when u grabble a enemy into meele range they whont get away before they are very dead, and on the lie you just grabble 1 time and kill, he whont spawn any, worked for me anyway.

With me, every time I grapple, they fly up again. Maybe I'm just unlucky... on the big Gundown mission, I had to keep using grapplers to get them stuck in the stairs, then slash them until dead, and go on to the next one. Elite guardian though, maybe different AI.

yea, the healing one is great while soloing, but once you join a party it doesn't scale very well at all since you don't regen more to counter the increased damage, while AoD will mitigate more since it's % based
