I usualy augment for "res" on pieces of armour not already fully augmented.

I also do my swords as palla allows and have got a +2 to a skill I use a lot.
always chooseing "rare augmentation" and about 7 out of 10 tries are totaly useless additional stats.
but it's so cool when a nice piece of gear gets a useable stat.
