Reformatting takes maybe an hour, but the restoring of all my personal settings, games, files, cookies, bookmarks, etc, takes me a couple of days usually - and it's still never the same.

also if you're smart with your puter you should RARELY have to reformat unless there is major issues which can usually be prevented fairly easily

you have any idea what you're doing? tell him a faster method he's asking for help.

I suggested something easy that doesn't take a lot of effort or time for me, and it will fix his problem 100%.
