as someone posted on the same question some time back,
if you get sick of the game you can always sell the acc on e'bay, hopefully the founders acc's will be worth a bit more than we payed.

The founder's ofer expired november 30th. Also you get dye kits unless you preordered... I don't like that I'm probably never going to even subscribe because of that bullshit. I want all they have to offer or nothing.

i just subscribed for 1 month 2 days ago, it still gave me the option to go founders if i wanted to.
im still deciding if i want to buy the founders offer or not, i dont see myself playing this game for more than a year, but it would be nice to be able to come back whenever in the future and not have to worry about new subscriptions

Personally i find such offers almost never worth it.

Your basicly paying a huge amount for things you "expect", but that doesnt mean its actually going to happen.
(in my view its still pretty unclear what direction this game is going)

To be honest so far, so nothing. Been playing since release and im happy i have not paid (cause nothing is added yet that would already be like 3 months $$ wasted).
This sounds negative but its nothing but the truth...being a sub only gives you hardcore at this stage basicly.

And as for the updates i wonder, perhaps 1 montly pay will be enough to play it and play it afterwards

Although i dont have any problems paying a montly fee for a game (been playing mmorpgs before for several years).
But i refuse to pay monthly for this game in the current stage.

i refuse to pay monthly fee, thats why i paid the big price

They extended it to the end of '07.

And the only reason I'm even leaning towards this is that I always quit games for like a month and then come back. It'd be nice not to have to worry about subscriptions.

if you have that kind of cash to spend, go for it. I'm broke, so I'm holding off for now. Not worth it right now, maybe after a few more patches.
