I've been playing HG:L a bit and im still trying to get the hang of the game. Please answer any questions you know the answer to.

1) First and foremost: am I doing this wrong or do all the quests keep making me backtrack into places I've already been too? It happens to me alot, It seems to be impossible to do all the quests in a certain area at once, because somebody else always sends me backthere later....

2) I have a pretty decent computer and I can play on near all-high settings in dx10, and my main character and the npc's look pretty awesome in full gfx, but everybody else's characters looks like crap. My pc can handle it, is there anyway to view other peoples characters in full gfx?

3) How come there are only like 5 parties in the party screen at any time? And each party has only 1-2 people in them. Im trying to find a game that does liverpool station quests and all I see are 5 unrelated parties with 1-2 players each. I know there are more partys out there, how the hell do people play together? Im still trying to figure out this stuff.

4) Are scrap metals / nanoshards etc only usefull for upgrading stuff in the upgrade machine thingi? Also, how many times can you upgrade an item in that machine?

5) How do I talk into the chat channel? When I press enter it just talks into the station.

6) Is the yellow bar below an enemys life bar his defense or what is it?

7) Are there set items or runewords or anything of that sort?

8) How can I find out if I've completed all the quests in one of the stations? Or find out what quests im missing?

9) Last but not least: no one ever has mods in their weapons when im viewing other peoples equipment? Is there something I don't know about mods?

10) What the hell is stonehenge? Iirc its for subscribers only? Is it like another act or something?

11) How the hell do I use the bottom half of my stash?

12) What is the Test Center?

1) yes it does happen like this ,, but one thing i found is that when you complete a quest go back to town to get credit for your quest and in many cases you will get a new quest for that area but you will backtrack some

3) private partys * and when a party is full it dosent show up on the list and last make your own party with say * liverpool station .,.,.,blah blah more then likely someone will join to quest or just to help

4)also crafting* if you find blueprints but yes mainly to upgrade your items ( you can always write on the HGL forums of a game suggestion)

7) no set items or runewords their are normal/exceptional/legendary/unique (patch 2.0 will release two new item classes)

10)sub only area * its a hub ... not an act more then new area to explore and new bosses i suggest you read about it from the hgl to get a full picture ,,, its Gg

Ok thanks alot for your answers man. Im not a sub, not yet anyways Ill think about it later.

Im still kinda pissed at the party scheme. I thought Diablo was dumb where you had to wait for the list to refresh,but this isn't much better.

One more question

12) whats the Test Center? Is it for subs only also?

pretty sure test center is where they release new updates for people to play and this allows the makers to get feedback on bugs..etc. on the new update before it actually hits the official servers.

I ended my sub and now I cant use the items in the bottom half of my stash. I got the pwnt

test center is for everyone.

like its name says "test" it is for testing and finding bugs/gliches/exploits ect. the new patches

you alo get double exp in there and everytime you log out and then log in to your characters u have gained (at least if i remember right) skill retrainer dont know about perks and stat retrainers.

#2: I think only party members stuff will look good, idk a way to change it.

#8: Hit tab untill big map comes up, and look for any yellow/purple exclamation points

#9: To view augments that have already been put into weapons you have to right click on the weapon and view weapon details, and they should be listed in window.

8 - I know..... but just because there are no currently active quests at that particular moment doesn't mean that I've completed all the quests in that station. Isn't there a way to view how much standing I have in each station?

9 - I don't think you understood the question. Whenever I look at OTHER peoples equip it tells me there are 0/5 mods or 0/2 or 0/whatever. They are always empty.

8: then finish the game and then go back and look. or get 50 then go back and look.
9: maybe they havent slotted them yet and they havent gotten the mods they want. or the game is programmed to show what the weapons are clean?
