Patch 2 Update: Skill, Attribute, and Expertise Retrainers for All Characters
One of the most popular questions when it comes to the Abyss Chronicles (Patch 2) is whether the major content update will provide new Skill Retrainers for characters whose classes will have been significantly rebalanced when the patch hits the live servers. The answer is ALL characters will receive Skill Retrainers as well as Attribute Retrainers and Expertise Retrainers, new for Patch 2. These items reset your Skill, Attribute, and Expertise points, respectively. This will allow players to wholly respecify or "respec" their existing characters.
All characters on all accounts, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, will receive one of each type of Retrainer as long as the character was made prior to the launch of the Abyss Chronicles (Patch 2) on the live servers. Characters made after this patch arrives will not receive these Retrainers. Characters possessing Skill Retrainers given out at the launch of previous patches will not receive a new one. However, these Retrainers will not replace like-named ones gained from Moloch who drops unique Skill and Attribute Retrainers as very rare loot. The Retrainers given by Patch 2 are not tradeable. You will need to have room for the three Retrainers (1x1 size each) in your inventory to receive them. If you log on with a character that does not have room in its inventory, the Retrainers will be given to it when it logs in and has available space.
And I believe those are all of the caveats I have to list.
