First of all i'm getting bored of playin d2 so i thought i should try something else. Done some searching on the forum and found some info about hgl. And i might start this game (sounds like fun).

Now i have some questions:

What would be a good char to start with? (gotta start from scratch so i dont have any stuff)?

What would be a good site where i can get some info of this game (builds and stuff like that) besides jsp?


What i read about this game is that the gameplay is somesort like d2 is that true?

i got bored of d2 and tryed HGL few weeks ago, it just like d2 ( creators of HGL creators of d2 ) so its easy quests, bunch of monsters and items. Theres normal mode,nightmare and elite ( like in d2 normal,nightmare,hell)

best 2 start with imo is guardian. And other good site is offisial HGL site, but u cant register on that site with out cdkay

i wont be on very soon cause i still need to buy the game if i start playin. Just wanna check out if its nice and if i start playin what would be a good starting char...

yea i got bored with d2 as well and i started playing hgl made a guardian got kinda bored with the game the controls and stuff take a little getting used to and i ended up playing guildwars:P but when i did play this game it seemed like fun.

and i dont really see how the gameplay is like d2 at all but thats just me

Well... this game has mass potential, but I don't think they capitalized on it like they could have. The game seems fun at first, but then seems to lose its luster after you get around level 30 or so. This is just my opinion of course some people love the game.

I played d2 as well and was searching for a new game. I found this game to be very boring. it started out fun enough. untill you realise that every level in the game is the same as the next it is extremely repetitive. A game i did see was a very good substitute is titan quest, im not sure if there online servers are up though i just got it and have been playing it on the lan with my cousin it is just like D2 with better graphics, its got summoners and mages and hybrids amd melee'ing chars and all that very fun. i want to see if its online.
