I've Never made an evoker before so I was curious as to some basic questions.

Basically I'm trying to avoid the standard cookie cutter arc legion build. But In doing so I still want to be effective.

someone care to list the pros/cons to rolling with fire sikills instead or perhaps bone since they seemed semi-interesting. (as a primary at least, is hellfire even a decent skill?)

I'm well aware focal drives have there own damage types etc. Mainly curious as to the ups and down of the other skill types that I'm not familiar with.

swarm and tempest work nicely together, if you go that route, you can use swarm and lightning field to clear the enemies on the ground, while your tempest takes care of anything in the air, or helps with ground based enemies
downside of tempest is its hard to use and sometimes doesnt work in enclosed areas, its great for stonehenge though due to the masses of flying beasts
hellfire is decent for trying to ignite, although bosses are getting increased resistances to ignite in coming patches, i would not go for hellfire unless you like using fire

the bone tree can be one of the best dps builds evokers have if you can master the aiming of splitter
also firestorm can be an awesome skill if you like to get up close and personal with bad guys

but if you want to speed up the killing process you must have the spectral curses.

evoker can actually master all the elements depending how u get the gear... i can have all lvl 10 skills that i want the trick is weapon switching... is a bitch.

yeah thought about that but also thought i could get swarm on a weapon or something.

Is the fire tree worth it anyone? Because it seemed interesting but in effectiveness does it compare to lightning? i'm looking for alternate routes on my main focus but if its not worth it, its not worth just want to know ahead of time before i waste my time making one.

I havent tried one yet but you will need at least one tree as a back up I am guessing

firestorm = good damage but crap range
flameshards = throw and forget not very good dam but can ignite
hellfire = ignite king

and yes spectral curse in the higher levels is the best skill in HG atm

I'm also going to try the evoker, and got a few questions.. are those skills worth to put points into : firestorm, flamesplitter,hellfire?? or even to use them as standart-attacks/skils.. and another question : are those skills good ( or is it worth to skill them?) : lightning-hail, any bone skills, swarm .. or ghost of perdition? or any sprektal-skills... and how to combinate them and .. another question: which skiulls like broms, énergie/life revocation etc..?!?! ;D

maybe something like that? first broms ( and maybe sprektalcurse), then cast thunderstorm and combinate it with flamesplitter.. out of energie = energie revocation.. something like that xP .. how's that? and hellfire for boss's or so..

take the points out of broms (its broken) and put them in spectral curse

also you may want to get 1 in arcane shield and only go to 8 tops on any skill 10 is just a waste since skills can not go over cap and you can find items with + skills
