I was thinking of getting back into D2 after 2 years of quitting...

Would this be more fun since ive not played it before? I heard its similar but is not as good as D2...

Would i be losing a lot from not playing online? what about paying? ( I would consider D2 online a lot more fun than single player)

Hows the pvp in this game?

you dont need to pay to play online.

Its free. You can pay if you want extra areas, weapons, mods, bosses etc but for basic play its free.

New stonehenge is for subs only and ment to be quite good.

ok here's the deal: if you like playing d2 and if you like playing first person shooters this game is what you're looking for. I would not recommend paying monthly right now, check out the game, play a few chars, if you like it subscribe. you don't lose without the subscription. it will add some nice stuff to the game and it is kind of worth the money but you don't need it from the beginning

Stonehenge is amazing, you get a crapload of drops when playing in large parties. I agree, find a char you want to play then subscribe. If its too much t sub, you only really lose out on stonehenge and ess, there aren't too many new items.

I'm enjoying it, although there are some issues.

I like being a sub, the sub areas/gear is nice and the extra storage space is VERY useful.

If you like FPS and enjoyed the PvM in D2 you'll prolly like this.

PvP hasn't really taken off yet but it is out there - the whole thing is rather limited ATM and needs a couple of patches to rly get going IMO.

Pvp isnt anything like normal MMORPGS, as in a huge battle arena of just slaughterfests, but you can challenge people so i guess its at a start O.o.

when ur looking for an alternativ game .. take look on Mythos - also from Flagship Studios .. actually the beta is life and u can get it free =)

And what if i borrow my friend's cd and cd key to install.... if he has an online account.... can i play online with a new account as long as we arent playing at the same time?
