I need tips on how to build my Engineer on hardcore elite. This is my first time making a hunter, so I have no idea how to build one. I don't want to screw him up, so please help me out.

Most important: where to put my attribute points? If you already have a lvl 50 Engineer, can you tell me your base stats please? I need to know at least how much I will need in the long run.

Next important: skills. Dunno much about skills here...

Last but not least: gear. What's the best guns out there? Automatic rifles? etc.

And remember, this is on hardcore elite!

That's easy in hardcore

Str, Acc, and Will for gear -- rest in stamina OFC

Not sure about skills I haven't done an engineer yet

in all seriousness though i think it depends on what you like. drones can be great tanks but not until they can equip a leg and molov assault is maybe the single best skill engs have

For a engineer in elite hardcore i would surely have my drone to be a melee drone to start with (avoid a rifle drone, their lazy tanks and will get you in trouble).

And i would max rocket bots together with molotov assault (great dps and fun to use).
If your going to team a lot i would strongly suggest taking haste bot aswell though. Or just use haste + rocket bots as your 2 active bots.
And beacon is something you dont wanne overlook aswell together with tactical stance (although you wont have spare points to have tactical stance more then 1 and beacon more then 5)

And what exactly did you link that get warned for? For posting a outside link for a class guide or a class tree you should not get warned, perhaps the post content?

Can link a skill tree for a engineer i have in mind for hce play later if you want , but for now im done for today gnite

I got 6 skills left, I'm not sure what to do with them.

The reason I'm putting only 4 points in Construct Drone and 1 point in Master Engineer is that hopefully I find two pistols with +3 CD/+3 ME (good luck on that, tho!) and use them on switch, you know. Prebuff guns.

I guess my main bots will be Haste Bot and Rocket Bot. Should I pump more points in Rocket Bot, or more in Molotov Assault? Are they good skills? Good for hardcore elite?

A slight change: I'm gonna put 3 more in Master Engineer. Just realized you can put 10 points in it, not 7. So that means 3 extra skill points left over.
