They are equipped just like any other gear, and they change the overall color scheme of your armor. However, they are not in any way shape or form tradeable, they are account based and you get them from pre-order codes. It is against forum policies to trade for such codes. I would look on e-bay, they range from 5-40 bucks.

I seen some one post on main hgl forum here @ d2jsp a place that is/was selling die kit codes for around $10.

read back a few days and you may find it.
