Belongs to Romania.

since ~ 2000 years ago. Was taken into Hungarian occupation after the first world war.

july 1919, the romanian army advances took over Budapest. They left by october.

30 august 1940 Joachim von Ribbentropp and Galeazzo Ciano forced the romanian into signing a treaty that gave to Hungary ~ 43k kms from Romania known as Nord Transylvania. In paris, the peace treaty in 1947, declares the previous document null, and Romania comes back to the `38 teritories.
