because in the years they were under hungarian occupation, there were killings, and hungarian was imposed as a language. Basically, if we were to relive the past, would mean every hungarian in Romania to either speak Romanian or be put to death. Hungarians came into Transylvania in the last century. I dont know what were teachers told you but Romanians arrived into Transylvania after the middle of the 13th century which I wouldnt say 2k years.
And the cities you call Arad, oradea, Timisoara, Cluj were 90%+ Hungrian before Romanian occupation arrived and dropped out the citizens.

Edit: The Dacian idea is proven to be not true. And the nation Romanian was born in the middle of the 19th century when the two kingdoms near the Danube united. But this Dacian thingy made them speak something Latin.

The dacians lived on this land till year 101 when we came under Roman (as in the Roman Empire, google for) occupation. After that, there were the slavic, slavon waves that came. That only influenced the words and spoken language, and by low ammounts the population.

for example in the 15th century the following nations were in Transylvania: hungarian, german, saxon and 'székely', which I don't know in english. the dictonory says: 'inhabitant of transylvania'.

Ahh the Monarchy you are talking about. Well you spoke about something like Romanians were in Transylvania for more thank 2k years, it is why I replied you some facts. And it was not in the Austria-Hungary times as long as I can count.



The first Romanians arrived when the Mongols destroyed Hungary and exited. They came to have more workers. Basically Roamians were living in the Balcan and arrived near the Sea they are living now (Black Sea), Moldva, and few of them Transylvania.

Romania was formed as a country in 1600, spring by Mihai later known as Viteazu.

That happened. On your side. we never attacked anyone for land. That cannot be said about the Austro-hungarian empire. (i know it`s history).

Which 3 ? I knew only 2. Anyway Mihai Viteazu was just a conqueror anbd a king for 2 years, the forming was in 1872 or the like. When those 2 parts reunited which names' I dont know in English.



That is the official view. The dacroman idea is NOT proven but it seems people try to make you think it is.
