Rumor:

Apparently someone hacked a gm's email account and posted an email of Flyff World( which was taken down in 1 minute) but a few people including a friend of mine got to see it.

Apparently flyff is shutting down in april because they are making no money.

Currently on mia, on the weekend, during peak hours, and there are only 3 people with fullshout, and the town is nearly dead with shops...

So i understand why they are not making any money.

JUST A RUMOR, but, something to look out for...servers are dying.

well i hope they will try something drastic BEFORE it actually goes down =S
such as merging servers like 1 top populated with least populated etc...
so we only get 3 servers instead of 6

return PK TO ALL SERVER like the way it was channel 1-3 normal and s4 was PK was the worst update to remove it D=

last way to solve it pay to play but could be a really smal amount and keep gpot or something D=

Yea...they may make, 300$ a week out of gpots. across all servers.

500$ a month per server to upkeep + payying employees.

I'm sure they make more than so, I know quite a few heavy gpotters who still play. (talking about people who buy gpots for 500-2000 dollars per month)
I'm sure this is just a rumor

Lol, I really doubt that flyff will be shutting down anytime soon. I've seen lawolf alone has some crazy gpotters that still spend thousands of dollars every month, and at least 5 people that were shouting that they're selling more than 8k gpotatos this week, so the numbers don't seem that reasonable

The main reason for why mia and other servers are not very populated is because there are WAY too many servers. Honestly, I remember even 1 year ago, when I went to Kern, I couldn't find anyone shouting on the 2nd or 3rd server.

That's normal yes.

But i've went to demian, mia, kern, lawolf...

Asked around a bit (just to check)

and not many, if any, sellers.

So ONE server having buyyers is nothing compared to the upkeep of a whole game.

Well, when there's a few individuals who have spent over $10,000 it does :)
Also, I normally see a lot of gpotato buyers waiting until the pro bundle sale to start dishing out the big bucks
Well, regardless, Galanet still has several other games that they profit from, so it makes no sense to shut down flyff, which would hurt their player base
