Not really necessarily, If they have any proof that you are you mods, they are allowed to scan the files of your Diablo II directory. It's like breaking a contract, when you started the game you agreed to the EULA, which is a contract. Any proof = Scanning.
Your wrong here, that's protected under Federal laws, thats invasion of privacy.
Because if your smart and know how to not get caught by warden right off the bat on your Harddrive you dont name your D2 folder Diablo II so that right there would void them being able to search your "Diablo II" folder.
