if you've played the original Crypt of the Necrodancer on Switch, this is easier to explain.
the game is basically a cross-over of Link's Awakening and Crypt of the Necrodancer.
it removes the chapter-style levels and replaces it with a Zelda-style open world with dungeons scattered.

if you haven't played Crypt of the Necrodancer, i would recommend checking that out first. i bought for $3-4 and i believe it still might be on sale for digi dl.

these games have helped refresh my love of rogue-lights. i play a lot of them and things have been stale for a while till now.
i just wanted to give these 2 gems a shout-out.
