As the title reads, I think I'm going to buy a Wii u probably used. Need some recommendations on gmaes , accessories to get, and any other necessities. I am a big Zelda franchise fan, so can't wait for that new game to drop.I appreciate any and all recommendations, and time.

Bayonetta 1&2 - awesome game, 1&2 bundled together for 60$

Mario kart 8 - need i say more? yes i do, 200cc is absolute madness

Splatoon - super fun gameplay, surprising shooter

Smash 4 - duh

Xenoblade chronicles X - super huge jrpg

Mario maker - name says all (except it doesnt say you van make mario levels in 3 different styles; mario 1, 3, world, and nsmbu)

Mario 3d world - great 3d platformer

Hyrule warriors - dynasty warriors in hyrule

Pikmin 3 - it's pikmin, also it's hard

if he waits Bayo 1+2 will be cheaper soon
although he may have to go digital to get Bayo 1 seeing as physical copies of Bayo 2 that include 1 are apparently hard to find now

yeah id agree that those are all worth getting. these are other games i have bought and enjoyed-

donkey kong tropical freeze - if you liked donkey kong games on snes/game boy youll like this
rayman legends - really fun side scroller, is actually fun to play with another person
yoshis wooly worlds - fun if you enjoyed yoshis island or yoshis story




one game i didnt like was mario party 10 - if you didnt like 9 you wont like 10. the mini games were really fun, however everybody we played it with did not enjoy the mechanics of the overall board aspect of the game. we still just play mario party 2/3 sometimes 8 for shits n gigs

gamecube port controller thingie is an absolute must.

if ur into that some decal skins for ur wii u

a skin protection for your gamepad.

gc adaptor if you wana play smash with a gc controller (doesn't work with other games gut can be used on a pc if you dont mind working a bit to get it to work)

protection for the gamepad screen

something to make up for the console's small internal memory (32gb) (i use a 32 gb usb key atm) unless you don't wanna download anything. For most games, save filed are pretty small.
