sure faster loading times are nice and dandy, but 3ds games have some pretty fast loading times (compared to ps3/360 games that i've seen at least, not sure about ps4/x1 loading times)
MH4U had something like a 50+ second load time on a regular and like 10-20 or less on a New, and my reg 3DS used to startup somewhat slow as well, and for a comparison between me and a friend he also noticed in MH that using the chat interface he had delays between being able to write messages or something like that whereas I had none
also to mention games designed like MH (as in works fine with varied framerate instead of a set 30/60) it will be able to more easily keep it running more smoothly
and tbh there really isn't much to lose with a New since buying a New over a regular or 2DS grants you advantages in higher potential DL speeds, faster browser, more available games, essentially a built-in CPP (which can be super useful), slightly longer battery life, more stable 3D (if you even care for it)
and these are my opinions here
better Home/Start/Select buttons than regular and better placement for Start/Select, home placement is good where they left it
better Volume slider placement
better power button placement
3D slider clicks into place for off (and I believe fully on as well? i don't turn it on enough) so harder to accidently turn it on (which used to happen to me soooo much with my reg 3DS)
