I can get a wii u for around 230 atm, but I have no clue if its actually going to be worth it. Mario Kart, Super Smash and 3D world I'm interested in but are they really time consuming and overall fun?

Is the Wii U worth buying?

mario 3d world isn't super long but it's great, you can easily get hundreds of gameplay hours with mario kart and smash, but it depends on you!

i can say i love all three games but it depends on what kind of games you like ^^

Defintly worth getting the wii u.

and if you want we can combine my 3ds code and your wii u code to get the mewtwo dlc. u can keep the wii u mewtwo , i get the 3ds mewtwo

It is totally worth the money. There are still some great games coming this year for it, also a new Zelda!!! If you are worried about that new system codename news, don't be. That console is still atleast 2 full years away

2 years and its not even in development yet...

there are some incoming games that look interesting.. I bought it only for Monster hunter 3 ultimate(a must) and im not disappointed. Its missing some games, but most of them will be released in 2015-2016. They won't make a new console(new wii u) anytime soon
Monster hunter 3 you can easily put 200+ hours in it, with some of the best graphics/gameplay available on the wii u. You can play solo and still enjoy it.
Mario kart/super smash bros are good enough, but if u don'T have a friend to play with, they get boring fast.
I didn'T play 3d world, but i heard it is good. The only problem is that there are not much hours of gameplay and it is very easy(read reviews).
Hyrule warriors is kinda fun too if u wanna give it a try. It get repetitive though.
Splatoon should be fun and the new zelda too. I heard that there is a new starfox in developtment as well. It should also have a pokemon game like any nintendo console and since it has awesome graphics/etc, it could lead to something big.

alot of games on the Wii U are great and dont get the credit they deserve

Tough to say. Lately I have really been moving away from console gaming and almost exclusively going PC gaming. Better graphics, MUCH cheaper games, mouse/keyboard, etc. etc.


Wiiu has virtually zero multiplat support, so if you do get one, it will mainly be for its first party games. Wiiu currently has the best multiplayer games on the market imo (smask, mario kart, mario 3d world, mario party, etc.). So I would only get one if you play with friends alot, otherwise I think its not worth it

Wii u has truly some magic gameeplay, unlike xbox/sony where about 3/4 of they're games is shooters.
