The 3ds is the first console purchase I didn't regret buying since my ps2 purchase in 2000.

Still, your mileage may vary. If you strictly enjoy FPS games and the like, you will become bored of the 3ds very quickly. If you enjoy a diverse selection of games, (especially if you like old style JRPGS) then you will get more than your money's worth of enjoyment.

I got mine at 150 last year when its on sale, I think its good. but to be honest its entire depend on what game u like from nintendo. I'm a big fan of pokemon and monster hunter so the buying 3ds is worth it for me. but if u r casual who dont really get into nintendo game phone/tab game probably best, they way cheaper and puzzle and dragon for example very gud

I think it's bullshit how many systems Nintendo has out right now. Wii is still active, Wii U now. Then, you've got 2ds, 3ds, etc. Holy fuck. On top of that, you've got remake of games being made for one system (Ocarina of time, 3DS), and Windwaker HD (Wii U). It's a good business model, but if you're like me, you're not going to spend much money to support them. So, with that said, don't buy the 3DS.

LOL wii is still active? how?

Right now there is:

WiiU

3ds familly (2ds and 3ds are the same thing, 2ds is just cheaper with no 3d, and they're adding the "new" 3ds, which will be the same with a few - only 1 annonced so far - exclusive games)

it's weird how you're the only one here not talking about games, saying "dont buy this system because they have other systems" makes little sense to me.

wii is no longer active, nintendo does not makes games for it

2ds is the same as the 3ds, plays the exact same games, its just no 3d feature so cheaper and better for kids

is atm nintendo has one active home console (wiiu) and active portable console (3ds)

although there is the new 3ds coming out which is essentially the 3ds but will have some exclusive games, so yeah you are right that now is not the best time to get a 3ds, i'd wait for the "new 3ds"

The new 3ds is already out in Japan and Australia atm and there is still no news of any other exclusive game aside from Xenoblade, I'm still tempted by the new 3ds but if there isn't anything else i'll be happy with my regular 3ds.

still early, I think nintendo will support it for 4~ years before their new handheld

Sure, some games will probably come out on both though still, smash 3ds supports the new 3ds second analog and monster hunter too if im not mistaken
