does it really work? like can you play 3ds game's rom on it? or is it just a scam? and if it works which r4i works cause apparently i heard some are only for normal ds and tohers for 3ds?

from what i knew about R4 on non 3d, they were sayign it will not be able to run 3d games becasue of the encyption type that allowed it to go 3d. i do know it will play any pre-3d absolutly fine, unless they made one that actually can do 3ds now. Wouldnt know anything about that one though

Also, i do believe i remember that you cannot get GBA games becasue the way they were made was different. But you can run a GBA emulator on just about anything nowadays so that shouldnt matter. My advice is unless you only play while youre on the go, just get an emulator and save the money

no. i meant check if the r4 even works for 3ds games, as when i checked ayear ago they did not. and if that is the case, you can only use ds and prior, and there are emulators for those

euhm i checked around and some of the r4i's actually do owkr for 3ds rom.

edit 1 : just ordered my blue super smash bros 3ds xl edition really excited to get it.

and from what I know about these cards when I was doing research the 3D wont work on any 3ds game you can get

it think its more so that it will work with the 3ds, at least until Nintendo puts out a patch.
