I have never used a wii before but was recently given a console with 1000 games. I see wii remotes and wii remote plus, is there a difference? I see nun chucks, fit boards, nerf gun, classic controllers, sports e.t.c.. I was hoping someone could list what controllers/accessories I would need to take full advantage of the game library and what each controller/accessories would be for? Thankyou.

ignore fit boards unless you like playing wii fit
get the wiimote+ for a smoother experience (needed for playin most games)
the nunchucks basically Adds more input options for you ( almost all games need this)
the gun should be self explained
not very informative but thats some of the basics

yeah wiimote+ and nunchuck is a given

you'll also need classic controller for some games (mostly virtual console games and a few others iirc)
