I only generate for buisness, personally im aginst genning and rather buy legit kalos born pokemon for 3x the price or breed them myself.
only genned pokes i would use is dittos.

i hate seeing every noob i battle with full legendary shiny teams and pimp smack them with NU pokemons.

it forces us who play fair/smogon rules to use websites to battle people who look for legit battles.

this . i did gen for fg . was easy . & i genned some poke i use . but i use champs like muk in ru and nu tiers to try to better my play .

No move tutors in x/y = shitty kalos legit born pokes
Conkeldurr with no ice punch?
Scizor with no superpower?
No way to obtain any ou legendaries that are valuable counters in the metagame?
Yeah nty I'll play showdown until I either get a action replay or pokegen works for 6 gen

Nothing stop you from breed or catch in the other gens and transfer them..
there is tons of hacked ones around alredy so getting a clone would be a simple task...
quitting becouse you cannot use hacked pokemon of your choice is the dumbest excuse i've seen.
There is ways to get them both legit and unlegit.

as someone who bought pokemon but doesn't actually play it, what are u all talking about?

Using hacks.

Breeding in 5th gen is not worth it since I'll be getting imperfect ivs
Cloning is difficult / time consuming / tedious
I'm not "quitting" I'm moving to a more fair area of the scene, aka showdown
At least until it's easier to obtain the counters that I need to maintain a stable footing in the metagame
Aka 6th genpokegen OR I'll settle for legit bred pokes IF all of the move tutors from gen3+4+5 are included in alpha/omega/Z

Also legendaries would need to be available and easy to obtain 5 31 Ivs at least

not like you absolutely need those moves unless you just can't learn to adapt to changes
and
gen 6 is far easier to obtain what you want cause they gave a lot of new ways to have better chances at or even guaranteed 31s, and I think legendaries are guarenteed 2 or 3 31s so not as hard as it used to be still
